Patent PendingBicurra is developing a novel transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) device for clinical research and therapeutic use. A patent application has been filed for the underlying technology.
A working device has been built and is being prepared for a clinical study. The stimulator is designed around a custom earpiece that delivers targeted stimulation to the concha cymba region of the ear.
